Historic Preservation

Our nation’s landmarks play a vital role in preserving its history, and we take pride in our experience restoring and conserving some of California’s most significant structures. From historic residences to culturally important sites, our work reflects a deep respect for original craftsmanship and materials.

Current Historic Preservation Project

Casa del Herrero: We are honored to be entrusted with the restoration and preservation of Casa del Herrero — “House of the Blacksmith” — one of Santa Barbara’s most treasured historic estates. Designed in 1925 by renowned architect George Washington Smith, this extraordinary Spanish Colonial Revival home stands as a lasting piece of California history and craftsmanship. Our work focuses on preserving the original character, artistry, and architectural integrity of the estate while ensuring it can continue to be appreciated for generations to come. Being part of the stewardship of such a historically significant property is both a privilege and a responsibility that we are deeply grateful for.
